A Joyful Beginning to a New Journey
The first day of school is always a special moment for every child, especially in pre-primary, where they step into a new world of learning, laughter, and friendships. To make this transition joyful and memorable, our school hosted a delightful Welcome Party for all the little stars of the pre-primary section. The event was planned with great warmth and care, ensuring that our tiny tots felt safe, loved, and excited about their new school environment. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with colourful balloons and streamers.The lively ambience brought smiles to the faces of the children. As the little ones walked in, they were greeted by their cheerful teachers with warm hugs and high-fives. Many of them were dressed in their favourite outfits, adding to the festive feel of the day. The day began with songs and dance by the teachers, which made the children feel relaxed and comfortable. Music and rhymes filled the air, helping to ease any nervousness or fear in the children. There were also interactive story sessions using puppets and visuals. Fun-filled games and activities were organized to encourage social interaction and teamwork. Activities like “Catch the Ball,” “Musical Chairs,” and “Colour Sorting” helped the children bond with their classmates. A Meet and Greet circle time was also held, where children introduced themselves by name helping them gain confidence in speaking and listening. To add sweetness to the celebration, a special snack party was organized. Children were treated to delicious cake. Sharing snacks with new friends made the day even more delightful for the little ones. One of the highlights of the welcome party was the photo corner, where children posed with cute little smile. These captured moments will be cherished as the children grow through the year. The joy and comfort on the children’s faces as they waved goodbye marked the success of the event.
