Red Colur Fun Day At National Public School
At our school NPS OMR, we celebrated Red Colour Fun Day with great
excitement and enthusiasm! The entire day was planned to help our little
learners explore and enjoy the vibrant colour red. From the moment the
children stepped into school, the atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and
a bright splash of red all around.
The children came dressed in beautiful red outfits – red frocks, shirts, T-shirts,
and even little red shoes! It was a cheerful sight to see our tiny tots proudly
wearing the colour of love, energy, and confidence. The classrooms and
corridors were decorated with red balloons, paper apples, strawberries, and
hearts to set the mood for the day. Teachers also joined in the celebration by
wearing red and joining the fun.
One of the main attractions of the day was our creatively made Red Car Photo
Booth. Crafted with love and care, this red cardboard car became a favourite
photo spot for all the children. They took turns posing and getting their
pictures clicked, which brought wide smiles and lots of laughter. The photo
booth helped create special memories that the children will treasure for a long
time.
To further enhance the experience, the children brought red-coloured snacks in
their tiffin boxes. From watermelon slices, strawberries, pomegranate to red
cupcakes – the snack time turned into a mini red food festival! Teachers
encouraged children to talk about what they had brought. This simple activity
helped them relate the colour to real-life objects and also encouraged healthy
eating habits.
Another exciting part of the day was the Red Object Hunt – a fun-filled game
where children were asked to find and collect red-coloured objects from a pool
of different coloured items. With bright eyes and eager hands, they searched
for red toys, balls and blocks. This game not only made them giggle with
excitement but also helped in developing their observation and sorting skills.
Throughout the day, teachers engaged students in various red-themed
activities, singing rhymes about red colour, and identifying red objects. A fun
show and tell activity was organized where each child brought a red object
from home. The children confidently came forward to show their item and
speak a few lines about it. This activity helped to build their speaking skills
,boosted confidence, and made learning about the color red more interactive
and enjoyable. All these hands-on experiences ensured that the concept of the
colour red was understood in a joyful and meaningful way.
The celebration of Red Colour Fun Day was a huge success as it provided an
opportunity for experiential learning through play and creativity. It was a day of
learning, laughter, and togetherness. Our young learners went home with a
better understanding of the colour red and fond memories of a fun and
colourful day at school.
We look forward to many more such colourful days to help our children
explore, learn, and enjoy the wonderful world of colours!
