Learning Through Occupation Role Play

Grade 2 students of NPS OMR took part in an engaging Occupation Role Play activity, where they stepped into the roles of people from different professions.

Dressed as doctors, teachers, police officers, firefighters, farmers, chefs, and professionals from various fields, the students spoke about the occupations they had chosen. They shared what the professionals do, the responsibilities they have, and how their work helps others.

The activity gave children an opportunity to understand different occupations in a simple and enjoyable way. Listening to their classmates also helped them discover the many roles people play in our communities.

Speaking about their chosen roles encouraged students to express their ideas clearly and speak with confidence. It also helped develop their communication skills, creativity, and ability to listen to others.

The experience was a wonderful way for students to learn about the world of work while building confidence and appreciating the contributions of different professionals in our everyday lives.
